About This Item
The First UK printing published by E. Pankhurst, Lincoln's Inn House in 1913. The BOOK is in Very Good++ or better condition. Light pushing at the spine ends with a bump to the lower rear edge. The covers are very clean for their age and the gilt titling remains very bright. Early bowing to the rear cover. Some offsetting and spotting to the prelims. Toning and spotting to the text-block with some encroachment onto the page edges due to the quality of paper stock used. Free from inscriptions and erasures. The very scarce casebound edition as the majority of copies were issued in wraps covers. Contents complete with 'thirteen reasons why you should join and subscribe to the Women's Social and Political union' appendix and the subscription form for 'The Suffragette' intact at the rear. A very scarce title dealing with Christabel Pankhurst forthright views on how sexual disease is to be managed. Collectible. Ashton Rare Books welcomes direct contact.
