Near Fine condition in a bright and shiny Very Good dust jacket. The jacket has a 1 inch closed edge tear to its rear panel and is protected by a removable Brodart clear-plastic sleeve. Small defect (chip) to one corner of the first 4 leaves (manufacturing error). Not serious -- PHOTO ON REQUEST. NO underlining. NO highlighting. NO margin notes. NOT a library discard. NOT a remainder. Profusely illustrated with about 175 full page black and white photographic portrait plates. Introduction on tracing paper by Dave Fulton. Foreword by John Waters. Bound in the original brown cloth, stamped in black. Complete with dust jacket. Oversize Hardcover. 11.25" wide by 11.25" tall. Besides book fairs and mail-order catalogues, long-time collectors and dealers will remember our lengthy For Sale ads in the Antiquarian Bookman and similar magazines.
