Signed by John Gardner of the front free endpaper, inscribed to former owner who has also written their name on the ffep. Very Good, with fading to cloth at edges, in a Very Good dust jacket with severe fading to the spine panel, extending to the front and rear panels; light indents to surface on front panel as if book was used as a hard surface to write on. Signed first editions are uncommon.
