London: Humphrey Milford / Oxford University Press, 1922. 1st Edition . Very Good Minus. 7.5 x 10 inches (19 x 25 cm). Signed by Author. Beige buckram binding. Illustrated in red to front board. Damp stain to outer edge of rear board. Foxing to top page edge. Inscription to front pastedown endpaper has been covered with correction fluid. Slight damage to first blank page where an inscription has been erased. Good solid binding. Browning to the photographic plates, clean text throughout. Children's fantasy based around the famous doll's house 'Titania's Palace', designed by the author and built between 1907 and 1922. The Palace is currently on display at Egeskov Castle in Denmark. Inscribed and signed by the author to front free endpaper: 'David Makgill-Crichton-Maitland, Nevile R. Wilkinson, Architect-in-Chief and Designer-in-Ordinary to her Iridescence, July 31st 1929'. Overall condition is Very Good Minus. Size: 7.5 x 10 inches (19 x 25 cm). Hardback. Printed pages: xiv, 111
