First edition, first printing, hardcover, no jacket. New York, 1948. Condition is very good. This is a used book that will lay open to most pages. Old owner's name on front blank, no other markings, writings, tears, folds or problems. Boards show general wear, spine is sunned and faded. Packed with illustrations and photos some of which are in color. Volume contains results of technical research that led to numerous commercial applications. Please see images of the book you will receive. Notes: This is from my father's library. He was an editor at Better Homes & Gardens in the 1950's. Needs a good home.
