Endpapers feature a map of the Island of Guernsey with the author's previous books opposite. Susan Coolidge is the pen name of Sarah Chauncey Woolsey (1835-1905) American author of children's books. Previous owner's name on blank prelim page, hinge cracked at front, binding a little shaken. Lettering on spine faded. Record # 374186
