B&W frontis with tissue (foxed), B&W cuts. Lightly rubbed spine extremes and corners, several small light spots to covers, small dent to fore-edge of upper board. Textblock edges and pages toned. Previous owners bookplate and marks to front pdep. 2 small dogears to p176.
From an 18vol. set of George MacDonald's collected works, sold separately. This title republished in edited form as The Prodigal Apprentice in 1868.
