The Vanguard press, 1935-01-01. Hardcover. Good/NONE. Missing jacket. Dark green cloth boards with titles in red in a cream field and outlined rectangle in same red on cover and spine. Spine label has a small tear. Rough cut pages which are soiled along leading edges. Top edges are painted with a dark gray. Endpapers have the adhesive bleed through along gutter.

Inscription to the fellow-author and friend of Farrell's Peter Neagoe and his wife, the artist Anna Frankeul.
