About This Item

45 & 6 Soho Square London W1: A&C Black Ltd, 1963. A Beautiful Handbook covering the training of the gundog including 31 interesting photographs. The author explains what the various breeds of gundog were originally developed for including the use of shows and and field trials subsequently introduced to improve the breeds. The book is bound in publishers original brown cloth boards. The 97 pages are also in fine condition being made of a fine quality paper. The distinctive dustwrapper shows a photograph of a gundog jumping a fence with the owner looking on. The wrapper shows slight wear mainly to the edges and is a little faded to the spine and top edges, but remains in presentable conditon. Overall a tidy little book and an increasingly scarce title for the gundog enthusiast.. First Edition. Cloth. Fine/Good.
