Indianapolis: Bobbs-Merrill Company, 1943. First Edition . Hardcover. Very Good/Good-. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. Lieut. Bob Berry's Story of the Navy's Armed Guard - as told to Lloyd Wendt" - from the dust jacket. 293 pp. Book has slight right lean and light bumping on corners and spine ends. Previous owner's bookplate on front pasted down paper. Pages are tanned with age. Dust jacket is tattered with creasing, tearing and chipping loss. Missing pieces on front lower corner, 1 1/2" X 1 1/2"; front hinge, 1 3/4" X 1/2"; bottom of spine from rear hinge across to front panel, 2 3/4" X 3/4". Light background of rear panel shows rubbing with light smudging/spotting. Now in protective cover.
