Plain rear blue board mildly soiled and surface biopredated. Hinges good. Both 'free' endpapers have been adhered to adjacent pastedowns, an original library label affixed to title page, else random foxing splotches and flecks. No other apparent library indicators. An exceedingly rare title from the pen of Will Ermine ( a pseudonym of American Western novelist, Harry Sinclair Drago, 1888-1979). Despite significant investigation, no other copies or printings of this title could be found. In the western town of Frenchman's River, Steve Messenger, a lawyer with the new logging company, must stand, gun in hand, between the town and the tough logging boss, Conihan . . . 18 chapters.
