Black cloth-covered boards, gilt titles on front and spine, in a plain hardboard slipcase. Internally neat, clean, bright and tight. Dust jacket has some light chipping at spine ends, price unclipped. Oblong 4to. Traces Klimt's life and work, both in the context of the social and intellectual realities of Vienna at the turn of the century and in the light of parallel artistic developments in England and on the continent. A large and very heavy volume which will require an additional charge for overseas delivery.
