Featuring 10 full page color lithographs, of which 5 are mechanical tab operated plates that move a mouths and eyes of various animals (pig, cow, duck, rooster and donkey) so they appear to be talking. Text is in verse with the sound the animal makes printed in red in a large font. Great copy.

Oblong duodecimo pictorial boards spiral bound (tips worn) (20pp) One movable has tab element replaced and another has a tear in the background repaired to the inside. Pg7 was cut short at the time of publishing so that it does not engage with the spiral spine (it is not a moving page and is hardly noticable) Last text page has a corner crease and a few faint marks. The movables are anchored/pivot on gromets. A clever movable (MONTANARO 115).
