Blue cloth; an excellent copy with the dustwrapper a little creased, sunned and chipped. With the gift inscription (dated 18 April, 1944) from Dr Edith Ulrica 'Rica' Hubbe (1885-1967). Rica maintained a correspondence with an array of Adelaide notables; 'including letters from 'Ray' and Phyllis Cilento and Doris Simpson'. The State Library of South Australia holds 'papers relating to her career as a doctor particularly during her time at Great Ormond Street Hospital in London'. (PRG 1415/21, National Library of Australia).
