Softcover. 8.5" x 7". 13 (one duplicate) folded paper pamphlets/ community newspaper for the Haight-Ashbury Neigborhood Council. Each usually consists of two to three folded 8.5" x 14" sheets. May, June, (2) August, September, October, November and December, 1966; January (a little thin, may be missing center page), February, April, May, and June of 1967. Interesting record of Haight Ashbury community history. Announcements of Community events, such as picnics, art fairs, political news, etc. Some issues have fold-out posters, (one designed by artist, Helen Ludwig) typed invitations and other items laid-in. All issues addressed to Kenneth Rexroth or his wife, Carol Tinker. Stamps and postage marks on each. All mimeographed and most issues are on pulp paper. Condition mostly very good, with the last June, 1967 issue used as a folder for the others and is a wrinkled and silver-fished (photos include details of the two worst condition issues). Scarce.
