HAIR STYLES - THE PERMANENT WAVE - SMALL ARCHIVE of EARLY 1980s PERM PRESS PHOTOS

  • Used
There are over 60 photos in this collection of the permanent wave hairstyle, very common from the 1970s and 80s. The permanent wave, commonly known as the perm, was a hairstyle consisting of curls or waves set into the hair which would last for months. These photos appear to be from the early 1980s and most measure about 8" x 10" with a few smaller pics. Many are marked-up Press photos and some of the Hair Style companies and Salons included in the photo include the Ogilvie Home Perm, Don Shaw Hairdressers, The Wella Corporation, Clairol, Allen Edwards Salons, Gil Ferrer Salon, Vidal Sassoon, Paul Mitchell, Bumble and Bumble, etc.

Being a woman of a certain age, I can smell those home perms just by writing about them! The photos are in overall good condition.
