About This Item

Hallen für Neue Kunst, 1986. First. Softcover. Very good. 4to, stapled self-wrappers, with a clear acetate cover sheet attached with masking tape. 48 sheets, printed on the verso only. A rare catalog/checklist, in English, (originally published in German two years earlier) of a long-running exhibition of works by Carl Andre, Sol LeWitt, Robert Ryman, Lawrence Weiner, Bruce Nauman, Robert Mangold, Jannis Kounellis, Mario Merz, Donald Judd, Joseph Beuys and Richard Long. With perceptive essays of two to five pages for each artist. Also included is a 14-page addendum, published in 1989 in the same format, containing material for two new artists, Dan Flavin and A.R. Penck, and revisions to the earlier list of works by Nauman, and for a separate exhibition of Mangold.

For overseas customers (including Canada): ALL my international shipments must go by Priority or regular airmail. Please be advised that "Standard" overseas delivery applies ONLY to items weighing less the four pounds (1.8kg) and which can be shipped in a flat-rate Priority airmail ENVELOPE. The "Expedited" rate applies to items which can be shipped in a flat-rate BOX. In general, exhibition catalogs and small books can be shipped in the flat-rate envelope. Most larger items will require the flat-rate box. There will be no extra charge for multiple items that can all fit in one envelope or box. If, owing to lighter weight, an item or items can be shipped by standard air mail and the actual cost is less, I will reduce the charge. (I do not run my shipping department as a profit center.) But if the order will not fit into a single fixed-rate envelope or box the actual charge may be higher, in which case I will contact you before proceeding with shipment.
