J P Lippincott & Co, 1870. First Edition. clean and tight, foxed. Illustra. Cover is chipped near spine front and back. Spine tips are worn, bindings are tight. corners are to boards. Former owner signature on cover page and title page. Dr. E I Shores was an ornitohogist of note in the late 1800's. He kept a diary of his findings in Suffield, Conn., Massechusetts, other parts of New England and Florida which has been valuable to other ornithologists.
