Color illustration of Handley-Page Type 42 airplane on board size 10 ¼ x 14 ½ inches; fold-outs reveal interior components of the aircraft. Text sheet provides a description of the airplane, while on verso is a "Key to the Folding Model." Illustration is mounted on board, which research has established to be a rear cover from the multi-volume set, "Newnes' Pictorial Knowledge" (circa 1932). The two-page illustration with fold-out components is in very good clean condition and depicts faithfully, and in considerable detail, the "beneath the skin" aspects of the Handley-Page Type 42 passenger aircraft. Very good clean condition. .
