About This Item
London: Blackie and Son Limited, 1905. Hardcover. Very Good. Early, perhaps first, edition of Henty's popular tale of a young Dutch sailor contending with Malaysian pirates during the period of Dutch rule in the region. With b/w illustrations by J. Jellicoe. Pictorial green cloth. Some mild bumping and rubbing to edges. Foxing to page edges with occasional spotting within. Binding tight and square. A nice copy overall. Very good.
