Single 5.5x8.25 inch sheet, the excised half-title page from the hardcover edition of "Taking of Mrs. Carroll" with an eight-line handwritten inscription in ink signed by Monette as Paul, dated 6/78. Nahmias' name is to be found on the Quilt; evidently a close friend from "back in the past" who was off to Africa in 1978. This leaf excised from the book at some point.
