Fascinating account of how a French Resistance member escaped more than one attempt to execute him while imprisoned at Auschwitz. !/4 cloth, 192 pages. Spine rolled a wee bit and the corners and spine ends are bumped. Further bump to the lower edge of the lower cover. Upper cover bowing outwards. Free from owner names etc, Good condition. The dustjacket is unclipped but tanned and shelfworn with small chips at the spine ends and corners.
