Wraps are not bent or folded; spine is securely stapled; text is secure in binding. Non-paginated 8vo. The author was a journalist/cartoonist who would take snippets of Kansas history and briefly describe them along with an accompanying drawing to illustrate the writing; people objects, happenings, events, historical events are all included. "It Happened in Kansas," ran since March 1935 as a syndicated cartoon in many Kansas newspapers up to the end of 1965. A clean very presentable copy.
