London.: Pears.. 1912.. Chromolithograph, image 18 x 23 1/2 inches on sheet 20 x 25 inches. Soft vertical creasing from rolling, repaired tear at left edge extending 2 inches into image (barely visible), creasing and short edge tears to margins outside image area, specks of paper residue to print. Despite faults, richly colored print would display well. Young boy swinging on a gate, surrounded by other children, by William Collins (1788-1847). Collins exhibited at the Royal Academy for almost forty years and was the father of novelist Wilkie Collins. .
