London : Henry S. King & Co., 1877. First edition. Cloth. Good. 7" by 4.5". None. A first edition of this drama by Alfred Tennyson. Alfred Tennyson, 1st Baron Tennyson, FRS (6 August 1809 – 6 October 1892) was Poet Laureate of Great Britain and Ireland during much of Queen Victoria's reign and remains one of the most popular British poets. Tennyson's drama Harold began a revival of interest in King Harold. In an embossed green cloth binding with gilt lettering to the spine. Externally, sound with slight rubbing. There is some damage to the top and tail of the spine. Spine is sunned. Internally, binding is loosening in places. Rear hinge is tender. Pages are generally bright and clean. There is a bookplate to the front pastedown and an ink inscription to the recto of front free end paper. Good

Where are We?
Based in the literary city of Bath, our offices are housed in the Eastern Dispensary. Built in 1845, the building originally existed as a charitable institution providing medical care. The building now houses our collection of over twenty thousand books and has five full time members of staff.
