New York: Harpers. Very Good-. 1886. Hardcover. Detroit "City of the Strait" by Edmund Kirk (20 pages, illustrated) , "Through the Cumberland Gap on Horseback", Naval artillery, sea captains, U. S. Navy, etc. Rear cover spotted, top edge of spine split about two inches at front joint. Black leather spine and corner tips, black boards, marbled edges. A bit of wear to extremities and scuffing to covers, else a clean tight copy. There are several small previous owner name stamps throughout. ; B&W Illustrations; 4to 11" - 13" tall; 972 pages .
