Full pictorial cloth hard cover with dust jacket, NF/VG. Otherwise unmarked, clean, square copy with small smudge to top edge. Dust jacket is lightly rubbed with small tea color stain to lower front panel of jacket. Offered in new mylar cover. vii, 586pp. Forewords by Moto Asakawa and Hiroshi Kamei. Not published until 1986, an historical novel originally written in 1946 and based on the World War II incarceraton of Japanese Americans, as perceived by the experiences of the Sato family.. Signed.
