Twenty-first edition. A dictionary of important dates and universal information containing the history of the world to the Autumn of 1895. With further references than previous editions and new features including a chronological table, dated biographical index, and numerous historical, literary, scientific, topographical, and geographical facts. Written by Benjamin Vincent, a British historian known for his reference books. Rebacked with the original half black calf with marbled boards. Externally, smart with rubbing and minor bumping to the extremities. Light loss of the original binding to the head and tail of the spine. Minor fading and the odd mark to the boards. Front hinge starting but firm. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright and clean. Very Good
