New York / London: Oxford University Press, 1983. Intellectual portrait of the late 18th Century thinker/writer/artist/essayist and critic. Green boards with fawn spine and gilt, 450pp inc index with frontis 1825 drawing of Hazlitt by William Bewick. Book has light bumping to extrems, but no obvious wear, and is internally very clean and tight. Unclipped DJ has very light edge wear (slightly more to head and foot of spine) and two 2cm closed tears (repaired with invisible[?] tape) at head of spine. Overall a VG copy. Ref:103748. First Edition. Cloth. VG/VG-. 16.5x24cm.
