Featuring the hit singles "In Between Days" and "Close to Me," the album was the band's first big international success, and was certified gold in the US, UK, and France. 59 x 39.5 inches, folded as issued. Near Fine, with a hint of wear at the creases.

In the first part miracles are recorded which took place up till the year 1604. In the second part, containing the addenda, most miracles happened more recently, in the years 1603 to 1606. At the end of this part another addition is announced with case-histories which still are under examination, and this extra addition is present too, starting with a poem by Numan "Die Oversetter" instead of a title. [36], 198, [12] pp.Beautiful first edition of the translation into Dutch by the editor David van Hoogstraten of the 94 Aesop fables with the 5 additional fables found by the German philologist and classical scholar Marquart Gudius, together with his moral commentaries (instead of his scholarly notes and annotations for the Latin edition of 1701, printed in two columns underneath each fable. David van Hoogstraten (1658-1724) was the conrector of the Latin School of Amsterdam (1694-1722). Apart from being a prolific Dutch and neo-Latin poet, he was an esteemed linguist and philologist who edited a number of classical authors. His Phaedrus edition of 1701 is considered his masterpiece.Lacks the portrait of Van Hoogstraten. The expedition was undertaken by a small group of people, led by the Danish merchant of Dutch descent and diplomat Evert Ysbrand Ides (1657-1708), in the service of Tsar Peter the Great (1672-1725). It greatly added to the geographical knowledge on Northern Manchuria and China. The present account provides one of the first Western descriptions of the Gobi Desert, the Dalai Lama & Buddhism, Lake Baikal, the Great Wall, Mongolia, the city of Beijing, Guangzhou, Siberia, and the customs of the Siberian people.The map Ides used for his journey had been created by Dutch cartographer, wroter, diplomat, and Amsterdam mayor Nicolaas Witsen (1641-1717) in 1687. Large view of the city of Leiden by the Amsterdam engraver and publisher Leonardus Schenk. The viewer observes the city from the south, from between the city's Koe and Zijl gates. In the background several windmills and a few characteristic buildings are identified by name in the engraving, including the university, the library, the Pieterskerk, the Town Hall, the Mare kerk, the "Burcht" (the fort), and the Hooglandse kerk. On the quay outside the wall, groups of people walk, sporadically passed by small boats on the nearby city moat. In the foreground we see a typical Dutch landscape, with grazing cattle, farm workers, a loaded hay cart and haystacks in the field. We know of several other wall prints by Schenk depicting local situations with almost photographic detail. Thanks to this detail important socio-historical aspects have been passed on to later generations giving these prints an important cultural meaning today.
