Publisher: Harper & Brothers, 1882. Good+ with general wear, spine ends chipped, some bruising, FC a bit loose, a bit better than average for age. Green pictorial cloth covers, titles in gilt and decorations in black and pink, very attractive. This is the very large and heavy edition with all edges gilt, beveled cover edges, 318 illustrated pages, twice as large as the 'Tourist's Edition' published the same year. Many evgraved Illustrations by William Hamilton Gibson and 3 maps.
