Large 8vo in lavender cloth ornately decorated and lettered in gilt and with tipped on Harrison Fisher illustration of lovely young woman. Top edge gilt, Decorated endpapers, 152 pp. With six full page, full color plates by Fisher and each page ornately decorated in gilt and light lavender floral design. A tight, bright example. spine just a touch rubbed and very minor wear at the tips. One of the less commonly encountered Harrison Fisher illustrated books of this period, the romantic story of young lovers who find each other, woo, marry and at the conclusion have a child--all with Fisher's typical lovely and romantic illustrations.
