INSCRIBED AND SIGNED BY THE AUTHOR AT THE FRONT ENDPAPER AND FLAT SIGNED AT THE TITLE PAGE. First Edition (1971) , so stated. Very Good+ to Near Fine in Very Good+ DJ: The Book shows only a hint of shelving wear at the bottom edge of the tan and brown cloth-covered boards; foxing apparent to the top edge of the tan portion of the boards and to the rear pastedown endpaper; a small stain at the rear free endpaper; the binding is ever-so-slightly cocked off square but remains perfectly secure; the text is clean. Free of creased or dog-eared pages in the text. Free of underlining, hi-lighting, notations, or marginalia. Free of any ownership names, dates, addresses, notations, inscriptions, stamps, plates, or labels. A handsome copy, structurally sound and tightly bound, showing only minor, unobtrusive flaws. Very close to 'As New'. The DJ shows a couple of short, closed tears and scant loss to tiny nicks and snags near the head and heel of the backstrip; mild rubbing to the panels; a dime-size stain at the rear inside flap; else flawless; the price is unclipped; mylar-protected.
