The binding is strong with all pages firmly attached. There is a light stain on the fore edge of the first 15 pages. The pages are otherwise clean with no writing or tears. The copyright page states 1949 Fifth Printing. This is definitely Not a former library book. The blue cloth covers show moderate spotty soiling and light edgewear. The lettering on the spine is faded. We always ship in a sturdy cardboard box!
