First edition, signed & numbered (1177), of this excellent work filled with historical notes, poetry, and personal memoirs of travel to Yellowstone from Idaho, bridges spanning the Snake River, Freemasonry in Idaho, gold mining, hunting Grizzly Bears, a substantial section on the Nez Perce Indians and their legends, Chief Joseph, as well as the logging and forestry practices of the Potlatch Forests, Inc.
