Inscribed on the title page: “For Billy with love and admiration. Helmut. 4.1.1996.” An illustrated catalogue issued to accompany an exhibit of color and black & white photographs by Helmut Newton, focused mainly on his fashion and nude photography, as well as portraits, cityscapes, night scenes, and ballet images. Including photographs of Darryl Hannah, Anita Ekberg, Leni Riefenstahl, Francois Sagan, Karl Lagerfeld, Grace Jones, Catherine Deneuve, Jodie Foster, Princess Caroline of Monaco, Birgit Nielsen, etc. Fine bright copy in printed wrappers. Billy Wilder’s legendary status in Hollywood as a director, screenwriter, and producer includes such classic films as Ninotchka, Sunset Boulevard, Double Indemnity, The Lost Weekend, Stalag 17, Some Like it Hot, The Seven Year Itch, The Apartment, and The Fortune Cookie.
