New York:: Scribners,, 1953.. First Printing of the First Edition. A Very Good plus copy in a Very Good plus unclipped dust jacket with a closed edge tear to the spine. There is a tiny worn spot on the corner of the bottom board. This anthology of some of Hemingway's best work also includes two complete novels: The Torrents of Spring and The Sun Also Rises, selections from A Farewell to Arms, To Have and Have Not, For Whom the Bell Tolls, Across the River and Into the Trees, and The Old Man and the Sea. There are 11 short stories and selections from Death in the Afternoon and the Green Hills of Africa. The short story "The Fable of the Good Lion" appears for the first time in this collection.
