About This Item
Syracuse University Press, 1960. Cloth. Near Fine/Near Fine. SIGNED BY HENRY A. WALLACE across the front free endpaper. A sharp copy to boot of the 1960 1st edition of this study of the unlikely 1948 Presidential run on the Progressive ticket (breaking with the Truman administration) by the 33rd Vice-President of the United States (1941-45). The book is clean and Near Fine in a crisp, Near Fine dustjacket, with just a touch of light creasing and the tiniest amount of chipping along the front panel's lower-edge. Wallace was also the country's 11th Secretary of Agriculture (1933-40) and its 10th Secretary of Commerce (1945-46).
