The book has a crack in the lower rear cover with corresponding tear to the dust jacket (See Photo), otherwise the book and jacket are in fine condition, clean, no previous owner marks or writing on any pages, solid binding. The book measures 235mm tall x 183mm, and has 204 pages + [1], 43 color & 91 b/w photos, 2 sketches, route list, bibliography. Good biography of Buhl with lots quoted from his climbing diaries, commentary on his climbs and style. PHOTOS ARE OF THE ACTUAL BOOK BEING OFFERED.
