Ionesco's only novel, originally appearing in French as Le Solitaire. Office clerk inherits a lot of money, quits his job, moves to the suburbs, has affairs, and worries about death. Translated from the French by Richard Seaver.
CONDITION: Heavy rubbing to edges of rear board but internally bright and clean. The price-clipped dust jacket has some light toning and soiling as well as a pinprick hole in the fold of the front flap. Near Fine in a Very Good or better dust jacket.
