About This Item

NY: St. Martin's Press, 1988. First. Hardcover. VG/VG minus. Black boards, 229 pages, Very Good condition but for a tiny abrasion to front cover, the top edge a bit darkened and a faint musty scent as of old books, Very Good. Dust-jacket has closed 1/2 inch tear to the front and several other nicks and dings; not price-clipped but front flap has a crease; rear cover has edge- and corner-wear, else VG. Folded double-sided printed St. Martin's Press release laid in. This copy is from the library of the late great Jill Johnston (1929-2010), critic, radical lesbian feminist and champion of the avant-garde, and bears her distinctive stamp in blue ink on title page reading "Write first. then live." J.J.
