The front inner flap of the Dust Jacket has its $4.50 price intact at the upper corner; with lower corner clipped as often. A square, tight copy of the 1969 Newbery Medal winner. Bound in the original pale blue boards, stamped in dark blue on the spine and front cover. The Dust Jacket is handsomely illustrated by Evaline Ness with a full wrap-around painting. Jacket's front panel has Newbery Award gold seal.
