About This Item
New York: Houghton Mifflin, 1944. Book. Fine. Hardcover. 1st Edition. First edition. This book has the yellow cover, embossed character profile on front cover and slightly larger format with date on the copyright page, no date on title page and no additional printings listed. Early, if not second, printing. Spine tight, boards rigid, tips pointed. Slight push to top of spine and tiny stain on front edge of text near bottom. Dust jacket is colorful, and is price clipped and has slight loss around top of spine and top tips. Looks jaunty in a new plastic cover. Shipping box is suitable for wrapping. .
