About This Item
Berlin: Buchverlag Der Morgen, 1986. Pictorial boards. Near Fine/Very Good +. A clean, very sharp copy of the 1986 stated 1st edition (1. Auflage) of this uncommon mid-80s look at New York through the eyes of sophisiticated Berliners. Tight and Near Fine in a crisp, VG+ to Near Fine dustjacket, with just a touch of very light soiling at the panels and mild wear along the spine crown. Text (exclusively in German) by Irene Ringe, evocative black-and-white photos by Sibylle Bergemann, capturing the "himmelholle", both the heaven and hell, that is Manhattan.
