Laid in a 4" x 5" printed card of a pen and ink drawing of a young girl and a large bird, signed by the author, along with 2 period newspaper clippings concerning the author, one of which details the author winning the Newberry Prize for her childrens' book "A Visit to William Blake's Inn". The poet's 1st book. Introduction by Radcliffe Squires. . SIGNED AND INSCRIBED BY AUTHOR. First Edition. Cloth. Near Fine/Very Good. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
