About This Item
London: Everyman's Library, 2011. Hardcover. Fine/Fine. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. Flat-signed by Philip Pullman to title page. A fine, unread copy received directly from Blackwell's book shop in Oxford where it was signed by Philip Pullman. Hardcover in dust jacket. The book is immaculate. The jacket has tiny tears to each side of the spine head, minor rubbing to edges, and a crease to the top corner of the front flap. This is how the book arrived. Minor damage such as this is always a risk with real life book signings where the book is handled multiple times by the author and others. Most collectors think it's worth the risk, knowing the book has actually been handled by the author. The 'His Dark Materials' trilogy includes 'Northern Lights', 'The Subtle Knife', and 'The Amber Spyglass'. There is an introduction by Lucy Hughes-Hallett, and a preface by the author. This is no. 342 in Everyman's Library series. xxxvi, 1102 pp. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. Heavy/oversize book. U.K. postage at default charge but OVERSEAS BUYERS MAY BE ASKED FOR A LITTLE EXTRA. Enquiries welcome. All orders professionally packed, tracked and/or signed for, and insured.
