Light brown cloth, gilt lettering on front cover, small 4to, 282 pp. Scarce history of the men from the Bethalto area who fought in World War I. Contains biographies of 63 soldiers, sailors and Marines. with their photographs. Bethalto is a small village in Madison County, Illinois, located east of St. Louis. A gift inscription on the front paste-down is the only mark in book. Pages clean and binding tight. Book condition VG+.
