Foreword by Ronald Stevenson. First edition. A life of the prominent Negro educator and historian whose writings and work have inspired many of today's Black leaders. Condition: Former library copy with library stamps to title page, page 25, spine ends and back pastedown, corners and spine ends moderately rubbed. Jacket with sticker removed, corners chipped else good to very good in like jacket.
