His works include Vindiciae veterum scriptorum contra J. Hardunium (1708), the Histoire du christianisme des Indes (1724), Histoire du Christianisme d'Ethiopie et d'Armenie (1739), and a Coptic-Latin dictionary. This volume is a history of the mission in India by Maturin Veyssiere La Croze. He discusses the ever-recurring question of whether St. Thomas introduced Christianity to India. La Croze, for one, was an opponent of this hypothesis.
