Chez Gerard Kuyper. 1707. 16mo. 16.5cm, [xii],184,437,[iii]pp., catalogue des livres, engraved frontis & title vignette, rubricated title page, 12 folding plates, text illus., diagrams, in contemporary full pollished calf, real raised bands, morocco spine label, some slight wear on the edges, top and bottom spine edges worn, a very good to fine sound copy (scn). ~ With papers on astronomy by Cassini and De La Hire including observations of the eclipse and comets; anatomical observations made on the ovaries of cows and sheep (with five engraved plates) by Verney; mathematical tables and geometry; and an extended series on musical sound by Sauver "Des Intervelles des Sons, & son Application a tous les Systems & a tous les instrumens de Musique" (with 3 large folding plates).
